Product Updates: v3.8.0

MAJOR FEATURES UPDATES:

• Row-Level Security (RLS) restricts data access based on user roles or attributes, ensuring users only see authorized data. This enhances data privacy, enforces security policies, and improves compliance.

INTERNAL UPDATES:

• The enhanced SQL Query Builder has been integrated into the Cards widget for data retrieval, resulting in better overall maintainability.

MINOR FEATURES UPDATES:

• Subgroups within a widget group can now be rearranged during configuration, providing greater flexibility and customization for a more intuitive dashboard experience
• Control data label formatting on 100% Stacked Bar charts, now extended from other chart types for improved data label readability.
• Once connection details are selected in DSMS, they will persist when switching between the Parameters and Fields sections, as well as when navigating to other pages within the application and returning to DSMS. This ensures you don’t need to manually re-select them.
• The “None” button on the chart legend has been renamed to “Inv” to better reflect its functionality of inverting the selected legend choices.

STABILITY FIXES:

• The week range for the first week of 2025, both with and without custom date formats, has been corrected, including when using contextual filters.
• Count distinct advanced formula-based metrics, used in custom dimensions, are now functioning correctly.
• Transpose tables will work as expected, even when the grand total is off and ‘Dimension as column’ is empty.
• Tables with only metric columns (without dimensions) now support necessary calculations and work as expected.
• Multiple cards with custom metric-level filters now function as expected.
